Let it be known across the land that I'm an astrology buff. Having said that, I think most horoscopes are a big crock o' shit. Take my Free Will Astrology horoscope for this week for example. Please.

After having dined at the Urasawa sushi bar in Los Angeles, I'm prepared to give you advice about your love life in 2004. It should have a lot in common with the sake I drank there: delicate yet potent, so unique as to be almost (but not quite) strange, enjoyed most when sipped slowly, and made from individually polished grains of rice grown next to sacred groves of sakaki trees and fed by an ancient underground spring.

Umm…yeah. Granted, I caught all the metaphysical barbs and nuances in that but the last time I had sake, it tasted like boiled sweatsocks. Is that to be my karmic destiny? To be one with the funk? Hey, that'd make a cool motto. Truthfully, I got it, but it was a stretch to apply it to my here and now. Today's Yahoo! Horoscope says:

You will find that you will receive more attention from people than usual and that you are the center of any social gathering. The one difficult point for you might be intimate relations to others. Things are automatically flowing my way? That attention received from social gatherings these days seems to be at the bottom of a martini glass. But I definitely was the center of DIC's New Year's Eve soireé. I'll post about it soon as I get some pics.
