I caught this some while back on the J-Walk Blog and thought it interesting:

The goal of this exercise is to identify nine other bloggers that you would like to meet for dinner/drinks. The only caveat is that these bloggers must be strangers — you haven't met them before. State the blogger's name, a link to the blog, and why you would like him/her to be in attendance.

So, without further adieu, here are the attendees:

• Anfanee: For starters, he seems like a very interesting person. A little cryptic at times, but I think that'd make for some interesting dinner conversation once the drinks got to flowing. Now if only I could get him to update his blog…
• Bernard: If you've read his blog, you'd know why he has to be a must-have dinner guest. And even with all the sex talk, I have a feeling there's more to Bernard than sexual escapades. There's definitely an intriguing individual behind the helm.
• Claystarr: It'd be good to finally meet him after chatting with him for years via WBS and Go.com. We were both in NYC at the same time but never got the chance to communicate. I'd just like to bend his ear on a plethora of issues.
• Elle: Do I really need a reason to want to meet Elle? I mean, this is the Elle we're talking about here. Proud mother, fierce writer, and all-around awesome Black woman. You tell me she wouldn't be fun at dinner. I dare you.
• Lisa: Lisa would probably have me shooting water from my nose with her jokes. She seems like a very fun person to hang around with scads of stories to tell.
• Rod: Author of one of the hottest new blogs out there, Rod brings an eclectic mix of news, industry gossip and half-nekkid men that has me waiting for each post with baited breath. Something tells me dinner and drinks with him would be an incredible experience. And I'm not just saying that because he's 6′5″. Damn!
• SmilingOnThaDL: Just from reading his blog, he seems to be quite a motivated and dynamic individual. And he's a 23-year-old Pisces, like me! I never got a chance to contact him when I was in NY, but I'd definitely like to know more about the man behind the blog.
• Tiffany: The Queen of Snark! Reading about her workplace issues have me in stitches (psst…don't let 'em discover the site!). Nothing's safe from her all-observing eyes, and I bet after a few beers, she'd have me rolling on the floor with laughter.
• Tony: A tech geek after my own heart. I've been reading his site for a while now, and it's been good seeing how he's grown as a man. Besides, he's a baller and shit. Somebody needs to pay the check…and it ain't gon' be me! Holla!
