Shit, I will be glad when this weekend is over so I can be in my new place in peace. I don't know what it is about moving and packing up all these boxes that has made me so sad these past few days. It's not like I'm going to miss this neighborhood or these people at all…I could possibly care less. I've also just been really tired because they are running me ragged at work. Have you ever been in a situation where you knew you were going to be thrown under the bus about something no matter if you reported good or bad about it? That's the situation I'm in. Rock? Meet hard place. I normally wouldn't give it much thought, but the possibility of getting canned when I'm just moving into a new place is very real right now.

Just call me the janitor, for I am cleaning up someone else's mess.

I'd still love to go to the Dear Friends concert, but all signs point to no for now. As usual, the money's simply not there. Maybe I can go and see if I can finagle my way in from one of the box office people. Hell, I did use to work there.

Add to this the other crush I had on Brother From Another Planet, his subsequent rejection, and then follow-up Florence Nightengale "I'm-gonna-find-you-a-man" hook-up attempt and I feel like grabbing a pint of B&J and hibernating in front of the DVD player until autumn comes.

Although it would be nice to have someone to come home to after a hard day at work….
