I hadn't had an update to this shit since January! Let's change that, shall we?

#4 - Write a book.
Manual is coming along rather nicely. I don't think it's at book status yet, but I'm doing pretty good with writing a semi-autobiographical satire novel. I hadn't really even thought about the whole "how will it get published" thing. Lord knows self-publishing would be a challenge.

#5 - Raise my credit score to over 650.
Wouldn't you know it - as soon as I cancelled my Capital One credit card, my damn score shot up by 102 points. I got my free credit report at the beginning of June and damn near fainted when I saw that shit.

#9 - Get a better job (i.e., one I like AND I get well paid AND my work is appreciated).
Well, I have that now. I do like my job AND I get (fairly) well paid AND my work is appreciated. Now to just work on the shoddy management issue.

#11 - Develop BlackComix into more than just ideas in my head.
I was there for a minute, y'all. Had found me an artist and was ready to do this thing. But then he started spoutin' this crap about wanting to "find me a man" and just turned into a gigantic asshole. The moral to this story is to let sleeping hoes lie.

#14 - Have amazing sex like the guys in the TitanMen videos without performance anxiety.
Lately, yeah…I've been all over this. Heh heh heh… Not sure how it happened, but that whole inhibition thing just went out the window. Holla!

#17 - Read (or listen to) at least 3 books a month.
This should really have been sketched out to something more quantifiable, but so far I've been doing good. I'm juggling Drop by Mat Johnson, The Untelling by Tayari Jones and re-reading Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk.

#30 - Pay all bills on time for 3 months straight.Yes, and can I just say how much I HATE automatic debits? Companies, please take the money out when you say you will so my monthly bank account report doesn't look like a fucking heart rate monitor wavelength, OK? That's why my ass is broke now, paying bill on time.

#43 - Take more photos and integrate them into the site using Flickr.
What, you haven't been checking out the gallery?

#49 - Learn to play at least one Nobuo Uematsu piece either on piano, violin or trombone.
I can play "Rest in Peace" the death dirge from FFVI. Working on more. Transposition is a lot harder when you don't have a keyboard!

#60 - Attend the symphony.
The Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy concert was off. the. hook. Seriously, it was an awesome experience to share that music with so many other deserving people. Playing "One Winged Angel"…twice? Oh God, I was in heaven. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that the Black Mages will do a US tour so I can die a happy man after hearing "Boss Battle" and "Fierce Battle" from FFIV live. I could go on, but Hikikomori gave a great review which I'll just shamelessly plug.

#64 - Go 24 hours without using the computer.
Done and done when I moved into the new place and Comcast didn't have shit ready for two days after their original date.

#71 - Move to a new apartment.
Where do you think I'm typing this from?

#73 - Enlist the help of a psychologist/psychiatrist.
Our sessions actually ended about 3 weeks ago. Has it helped me weed through some things? Yeah. In essence, it was quite helpful (even if I now have more questions than before the therapy). No, this doesn't mean I'm one of those pill-poppin' bitches who need a Paxil or a Zoloft just to deal with folks. I'm doing fine handling assholes in small doses, thankyouverymuch.

#82 - Learn Flash and Dreamweaver.
I know Dreamweaver pretty well now since I have to use it at work. But Flash? Ugh…that bitch is harder than eight bitches in a bitch boat.

#83 - Buy some comfortable and nice-looking dress shoes.
Rockport's are the only way to go.

#93 - Go through my clothes and give the stuff I no longer wear to charity.
It took forever, but the Salvation Army finally came and got my shit from my old apartment.

#97 - Start the Black Weblog Awards.
The domain name is bought, but I've been quite lazy about designing it (something which will more than likely change after 7/4/2005). Maybe I'll bring on Frank as a partner since he wants to do a similar venture.

So how are you doing on yours, eh?
