October was in interesting month for BlackGayBlogger.com. Not just because of the blogcasts, but because it's probably the first time on this blog where I really felt like I was doing this for someone other than me. Don't get me wrong; I like recording the 'casts and offering "premium" content to y'all (and the stats don't lie - it's my second-most popular month since I started this blog back in '03 - 47000+ unique hits) and I take some of the suggestions. But some of you bitches kill me with the petty shit I get e-mailed about.
Yeah, I know…if I start doing these things, maybe my 'cast will be more "palatable" to the masses. Maybe you don't like my taste in music — so the fuck what? Maybe I'll get on here and talk about whatever the Hell I want to since it's my shit and I pay for it, and if you want "more about Black gay topics" and for my podcasts to be "more accessible", then I will happily tell you to traipse ya merry ass elsewhere and leave me be, comprende? And don't eeeeeeeven get me started on Noah's Arc — I've seen the shit now and I still stand by what I said in my podcast. So sit on that and twist. I don't want to have to start putting housekeeping rules on shit, you know. I've decided to do the blogcasts once a week now on Sundays, so you can tune in Sunday afternoons or evenings and check it out. And as far as password-protected entries are concerned, passwords are included in the blogcasts. If you don't listen and get it, tough. I delete e-mails asking for passwords with the quickness, holmes. Catch up! Get Bloglines or ipodder or something, for cripes sake. Oh…and if you're offended, I suggest you take this entry with a grain of salt and the following advice: "If it don't apply to you, don't personalize it!" *drops microphone* Filed under: Q&A Comments: |
