OK – that’s the informal title, since the majority of this post is talking about music and some information on SXSW 2006 in Austin, TX. As always, send your questions and comments to karsh@blackgayblogger.com.

- How’m I doing? Take the BGB Blogcast Survey
Do your thing Karsh! I submitted my survey. Hope it helps.
Is it just me that finds the session title “Blogging While Black” a trifle odd? It makes it sound like being black is a temporary state; a condition, almost like pregnancy!
Surely a more appropriate phrasing would be Being a Black Blogger, Black and Blogging or somesuch…
(*runs for cover anticipating a hail of flames and brickbats*)
I took the survey. One option that wasn’t listed on the last question about improving the blogcasts was ‘lengthening the blogcasts’. Maybe that’s something that you don’t want to do because of time constraints. I do enjoy the tech talk because I always learn from it, so I hope that will continue to be part of your blogcasts. If you wanted to talk about your views on current events locally, nationally or worldwide, I’d be interested in hearing them. I hope the work situation gets better for you soon, although your stories about work are funny and easy to relate to. This post is getting long but the point is, longer blogcasts would be cool too.
Thanks for the brisa blog shout-out. She’ll be tickled to be mentioned on blackgayblogger.com!
