10:45 a.m. Demotivational Haikus

Love and hate: Payday
On the first and fifteenth, when
money says “goodbye”.

“Insufficient Funds.”
“Say what? I just got paid today!”
“Insufficient Funds.”

Music is the one
thing separating workplace
peace and going postal.

Blogging at work. Oo!
Look at me — I’m speaking free!
Hope I don’t get caught.

Underwhelming hope.
Raucous quiet. Fake praises.
These are staff meetings.

Friday — I love it.
5 p.m.; cast the scurf of
a long week’s work.

Funny but not really haikus since they don’t deal with nature. I can’t wait to read your sonnet. Keep up the good work.
