- I signed up Micro-Manager in the My Bad Boss contest over at WorkingAmerica.org. If anything, I’ll at least get a few votes from it.
- I think I posed this question on the blog before; if I had BGB apparel made, would y’all buy it? I don’t necessarily mean t-shirts or caps, but maybe a messenger bag or a bumper sticker or a micro-button also. If I can get a couple of concurrent revenue streams coming in, my chances on striking out on my own would be much greater. I’ve even got a vendor in mind.
- Bernie has a set of five “What If…” questions that are worth checking out. If I have time this weekend, I may get around to answering one (or all) of them here.
- Ooh, I want one of these. Any volunteers?
- I know several people that will be happy to know this — my next computer is going to be a Mac. Of course, as expensive as they are, that probably won’t be until 2011.
- This will be a busy tech weekend for me — I’m working on the Black Weblog Awards site, doing some behind the scenes work on this site and also organizing all my 3000+ bookmarks in Firefox into folders. So if you see me online, give me a shout.

For the longevity of use you’ll get from them, Macs aren’t expensive. And you can hunt around online and find good deals. Take the plunge now.

I’m thinking of succumbing to the Mac myself. I finally visited the new 5th Ave store, and all I can say is Apple employees are the BEST salesmen…

I’ve thought of getting a Mac on the side. But yeah, the cost (hardware+software) is nothing to sneeze at. I don’t forsee a time when my primary computer isn’t a PC.

A BGB messenger bag would be hot! Will it be orange or more like the new site design you’re moving toward?
I’ve been looking at one of those MacBooks for a while now. My Dell pc is on it’s last legs. Plus , I’ve heard so many podcasters says that it’s easier to record and edit shows on Macs and Mac software.
