I did Orkut for a minute awhile back and that was enough. Why the school shootings? Angry white men. I'm always amused when the inevitable interview subject says, "We never thought this could happen here." Why the hell not? If that retirement check has any size to it, roll it over into another retirement account like an IRA, otherwise you will be taxed on it. If I didn't have this unexpected gap in employment, I was headed towards podcasting. I still want to. I've got another idea for the equivalent of a web-based radio station, with multiple podcast contributors, each creating shows. But then I like dreaming big. Never got into that whole MySpace thing. Being in the midst of a job search, the last thing I need is for some recruiter to find my profile and think I'm a nutball. That's something I need them to find out in person, ya know?
