• Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the state of paranoia. Of course, I'm referring to the city of Boston's response to Adult Swim's "guerilla marketing" campaign…complete and utter bat-shit knee-jerk reactionary bullshit. I can't help but sit back and laugh at the fact they shut down part of the city and removed and detonated these LED cards with the Mooninites to the tune of $1 million. And Boston wants Turner to pay. And Aqua Teen Hunger Force just got an assload of PR. Talk about getting your knickers in a knot. Boston Metroblogging has a nice play-by-play of the events and the aftermath. I seriously don't see the panic, but I wouldn't be surprised if more everyday Paranoid Janes start squealing to the feds every time they mistake an umbrella base for a landmine.

  UPDATE: Oh no….no no no no no. NYC, please don't overreact. If guerilla marketing has a home anywhere in the US, it's there. Oh, and if you're listening Atlanta, please don't trip if you see one of these (they've been around town for months now), it's bad enough out here with the traffic and the weather and shit.

• Groundhog's Day is tomorrow. There will be "festivities" at work. Like I give two shits about where the sun shines on an rat's ass in Pennsylvannia.

• I really wish I had something to say about this whole Isaiah Washington/T.R. "I know you di'int" Knight/'faggot'/Katherine "I'ma fuck you up Isaiah" Heigl debacle, but I really don't. Seriously, it's just tired at this point, and the media is playing connect the dots like an episode of Pee Wee's Playhouse.
