Maybe you don't quite fit in with most guys your age at this point. An older man can, perhaps, be more patient and understanding than a younger guy. It doesn't have to be "forever". What has dating guys your own age gotten you so far? I'm sure you've heard that 50 is the new 40, 40 is the new 30 and so on. Some older guys work out and their bodies are in great shape. They could have a lot to offer a young "up and comer" who maybe is a little too "serious/smart" to fit in with most guys his own age. It's harder to get financing. The key with buying now is to stay put. Prices are low and in many places falling, so you don't want to buy if you're going to sell soon.
