Last night, I upgraded the blog here to Wordpress 2.5. Sporadic blogging will resume when I feel like it. As you were. Filed under: Technology Comments: 3 Comments |

They just keep pouring in… So GLAAD does this thing every month where they point out the best and worst of national news. This month's is located here. I like how after each blurb, there's the tacit encouragement to take action on the stories listed. How about as soon as I changed my online statuses from "in a relationship" to "single", I got offers from both Yahoo! Personals and Match.com for a free month? And they heard about it from the blog! I guess it wouldn't hurt to check them out again…. Apparently, Coretta Scott King had a gay son…scratch that, a gay special assistant. Lynn Cothren is his name, and if you want to blind yourself by terrible web design, visit the link here. Che/Gaara and I broke up. No details, and nothing I choose to discuss right now. Let's just keep it moving. Filed under: Love in the Life and Personal Comments: Comments Off |

It's past 3am and I can't sleep. Kinda bad considering Gaara and I are doing brunch in less that seven hours. Then again, I could just have coffee if I get sleepy. Here's a meme! Directions: You can only type one word for each question. Filed under: Memes Comments: 1 Comment |

So on the day after my 3³th birthday. I've decided to introduce a new feature here to the blog — From the Inbox. This new feature is going to allow me to take most of the random ass messages I get on the daily and relay that information to you. It also helps me so I can clean out my inbox. Do keep in mind that by me posting these does not, in any way, mean that I endorse these events. I'm just doing my part in posting the information. I will give some commentary to it, but if I think it's really important or strikes my fancy, then I'll just dedicate a separate blog post to it. This category is just for all the extra stuff. If you really want to curry my favor, then send me some free stuff. Books, movies, porn, trips…you know how I do. Now here we go! There's going to be a 3-day conference in Baltimore, MD titled "The Power Of Us". It's going to be in Baltimore, MD from April 24-26. 3 Days + 50 Speakers + 35 Events for only $100! Not bad. More information is available at the conference's page over at the NBJC website. Key West's Gay Spring Break 2008. No, it's not the name of a porno film, it's…well…spring break in Key West. And it's gay. From my e-mail: Gay Spring Break was created in Key West to provide younger gay men and lesbians with an opportunity to engage in typical spring break activities in a welcoming atmosphere. This is the second year of Gay Spring Break, and our little island town is completely flooded with college-aged men and women. I know that it is annoying to receive emails that have obviously been sent to several people. We do think, however, that this type of event is unique and can provide insight into the future of the gay and lesbian travel market. No, I didn't provide them with my e-mail address, so they're basically trying to justify spamming me. I can't really get their website to actually come up, either. From their e-mail, it's basically Fire Island…but in Florida. Visit at your own risk. Thomas Byrd, the YouthBoard president over at YouthPride is participating in the 6th annual Action Cycling Atlanta 200 mile bike ride May 17 and 18; right now, he's looking for sponsors and is trying to reach $1,000. So far, he's over halfway there. All proceeds go to the Emory Vaccine Center. Bravo and GLAAD have signed a broadcast rights deal to telecast the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, effectively making Bravo the gayest network on basic cable. You may now consider yourself informed. And I will now consider my inbox empty.
