[10 second pause] Um... [5 second pause]... We. Um. Only. December dude. December... Um. Whoo. ..." This was March when he dropped the L-bomb - right before I was about to get on a plane. What saved the awkwardness was "You don't have to say it if you don't feel it. I just wanted to tell you." To which I responded "Okaay?" </p> <p>There's really no good response other than to say "I love you too" -- which may be a lie -- or make a joke out of it.
