You put more than two people together and there's gonna be drama of some sort. You just gotta pick your poison. If this were me having to choose, I think I'd go for the new job. If it doesn't work out, you'd at least be at a higher pay scale and in the field you hope to be in eventually. Making it easier, in my possible naive and wrong pov, to get another job in the same field.</p> <p>Whatever you decide, I hope you enjoy the work. As a GBM in academia I encounter retarded questions daily. So, what are you going to do with your Master's degree? My answer: I am going to pursue my phd and get a job in an academia (duh). I learned this lesson a while ago: "Keep sh*t to yourself." I don't get into conversations about my personal life or anything I do outside of work.</p> <p>When Lead Designer asked if you were in school, my answer would have been a simple, "Yes".
