I just can't believe those photos came from myPartner.com! I am shocked. I'm 33, have a PhD, and easy on the eyes I first logged on to myPartner.com in December, went on several nice dates and after 2 months I found my soul mate. We fell in love immediately. Even though it's only been about 4 months, as soon as it's legal to get married in CA, we are going to do it. Best of luck to you.

I thought the gay dating scene in the Atlanta area was among the best in the nation. I'd always heard there were so many gay men (including black gay men) in and around the city. I guess just because a city has a lot of gay men doesn't make it better.

Online dating really sucks. I don't know who thought this was a better idea than going to a bar or place where ou can actually SEE people before you date them.

I usually get fed up in about three weeks myself, although since I started my dating blog I have almost zero time left to date.

LOL…wow. i feel you on the dating sites; i had a traumatic experience just yesterday with someone who showed up here 100 pounds heavier than his photo. this has happened before, but for some reason, it really kind of broke me…i really am done with the online dating scene and i'll just wait for something random. i have a feeling it's coming, as soon as i stop snacking…

Yeah I have heard the gay black dating scene there is pretty bad!! The only way to have a relationship out there is to have an "open" arrangement. In my opinion that does not make you lovers but "roommates that screw on occassion."

Call me old fashioned but I want someone to call my own without all the other rules. If I wanted to still screw around I would just remain single ya know!!

I will be moving to ATL in November of this year so wish me the best man..LoL. I am very much a homebody except for going to the movies, jazz spots, church, volunteer work, and the gay club very sparatically! Continue to live your life, pray, and do you best to stay positive despite what is going on.
