Suggest A Topic
Posted on 04/06/08 @ 3:18 pm

I just added a new feature to the blog; check over in the sidebar for a link where you can suggest a topic for me to blog about, powered by the awesome folks at Skribit. You protective types out there can even be totally anonymous about it!

Of course, it'd do me a huge favor if you did register and suggest a topic according to Skribit:

If you’re making a suggestion via Skribit, the main benefit of registering for an account over being an anonymous suggestor is that you’ll be able to track your suggestions and see if they were blogged. It also gives the blogger an idea of who suggested each suggestion and therefore some incentive to write on the topic compared to writing for an anonymous user.
Fer sure. Or fa sho'. Whichever you prefer.

Or perfo'.

Peeking My Head In
Posted on 02/26/08 @ 10:47 pm

Just so y'all know, I'm not dead yet.

As usual, I'm busy with work, school, the Awards, and now a boyfriend. Funny, he said yesterday he likes my "manic energy", which I guess would be what could accurately describe what these past few months've been like.

Anywho, I also wanted to check in and say that I now have hotlink protection on my links since my bandwidth has been damn near sucked dry by rampant hotlinkers. I tried the whole "asking nicely" thing, but getting replies like "fuck off" and "eat a dick" have worn thin.

So now if you hotlink one of my images, you get a rather…um…NSFW-type picture. Judging by the already nasty e-mails I'm getting from hotlinkers, it's working!

And if you don't know how to download an image from the Internet, save it to your own space (use Photobucket - it's free) and post it somewhere else…then just get off the 'Net.

For real — push back from the keyboard and go outside or something.

Alright, back off to the land of studying, 45-hour work weeks, logistics planning and Che.

Hey, it's rough, but that's life.

Problems with Commenting?
Posted on 09/19/07 @ 11:36 pm

Well it looks like half of my plugins needed upgrading, and I think a few of them might have erroneously disabled commenting. Things should be working now; if not, just shoot me a line.
